My icon making and writing abilities seem to be none existant at the moment so because I am a crazy person I decided to try and make a Glee fanvid. Windows Movie Maker is pretty unwieldly but I kept going anyway and ended up with this. It's a Rachel/Finn/Quinn/Puck vid to Use Somebody by Kings of Leon, using clips from all the aired episodes.

Anyway here it is streaming at Bam Vid Vault. As it was my first one I'd be interested to know what anyone thinks.

So me and my dad are watching poker on the tv at the moment and I'm explaining texas hold 'em to him, which is a clear indication that I watch too much late night tv.

In other real life news I became an aunty for the first time, a few weeks ago. He is possibly the cutest baby in the world ever and I know everyone says that but it's actually true with him. He was a big baby and born with a full head of hair and totally looks like a little boy already.

Apparently Jason Barry is making a movie about 1916. I really like him, particularly in Mirrormask and Gary Oldman's going to be in it playing James Connolly and Guy Pearse is in it as Padraig Pearse. Chris O'Donnell, Elaine Cassidy and Anthony La Paglia are going to be in it too. I really hope it will be good.

I'm also working on two picspams, one for picspammy and one for a whedonland challenge. I just joined there this week and got team Buffy, yay. It's actually a lot of fun, there's games and graphics and writing challenges and you get points for just participating so it's fun.

So basically what I'm saying is I hope to have a post with some actual content soon.

I totally missed the dead line for cliche_bingo competition but I'm still going to try and fill the card. I had a couple of things started and almost done but by the time the deadline came around I really wasn't loving them so I'm doing so 2nd drafts now. Hopefully I'll post something soon.

I'm so excited about new Glee next week, I loved the pilot so, so much. I hope the show doesn't disappoint. And the casting of A Game of Thrones has me totally excited for the show. Sean Bean, Jennifer Ehle, Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, I'm starting to think the show could do justice to the books.

I downloaded 2 things today that are making me extremely happy. One was Objectdock {along with a whole pile of new desktop and dock icons from deviant art} which has totally changed the look of my desktop and I am loving it. {Take that brother with your macbook}. So for anyone interested I present my new desktop. Yes that is a Cow at the end

The other is the version of Oh death from the new Supernatural promo which is available for free download from the CW website here. Even if you don't know or like the show it's a nice version of the song.

So I've been missing for a while, basically what happened was I found Studio 60 on sale for €19.00, which considering it was €80 the last time I checked made me very happy. I then watched all 22 episodes remembered who much I love Jordan and Jack and just about everyone inbetween, but I also remembered how bad the sketches were. And once I had finished watching Studio 60 I had to watch The West Wing again. I'm up to Season 4, The California 47th. This time around I fell in love with Sam and CJ, Charlie and President Bartlet again, last time it was Josh, Donna, Leo and Abbey. And I still love the end of Season Two, when the Dire Straits starts up, oh show.

So I signed up for cliche_bingo because clearly I'm a masochist. I kind of like the look of my card but I'm not sure what I'm going to write or even which bingo I'm going to try for. ( Here it is if you want a look )
